NOTHING GIVES YOUR BIG BLOCK 1955-1957 CHEVY, PERFORMANCE AND SOUND LIKE A SET OF OUR FENDERWELL STYLE HEADERS. DESIGNED TO FIT OVER THE FRAME RAILS AND EXIT INSIDE THE FRONT FENDERS AT BOTTOM OF THE COWL, THESE HEADERS ARE PERFECT FOR THAT BIG BLOCK CHEVY INSTALLATION IN THE POPULAR TRI-5 CHEVYS. USING THE FENDERWELL DESIGN ALLOWS THE PRIMARY TUBES TO BE LONGER, GREATLY INCREASING PERFORMANCE.GROUND PARALLEL WITH .350" FLANGES ON THE CYLINDER HEAD SURFACE WITH 2" PRIMARY TUBES, THESE HEADERS FEATURE 3-1/2" COLLECTORS AND ARE SUPPLIED WITH 2-1/2" REDUCERS THAT BOLT TO THE COLLECTORS, TO CONNECT THE REST OF THE EXHAUST SYSTEM TO THE VEHICLE. COMPLETE WITH HEADER BOLTS AND GASKETS AND REDUCER BOLTS AND GASKETS. THE HEADER FLANGE IS A 2" ROUND TUBE AT THE PORT AND WILL BOLT TO ALL BIG BLOCK CHEVY HEADS, WITH NO SPARK PLUG OR SPARK PLUG WIRE RESTRICTIONS, ALTHOUGH WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND RUNNING THE SPARK PLUG WIRES UNDER THE HEADERS. CERAMIC HOT COATING (CHC) IS A HEAT RESISTANT, CERAMIC COATING APPLIED TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE HEADER. THIS COATING WILL REFLECT HEAT, WHICH HELPS RETAIN MORE HEAT WITHIN THE HEADER TUBE WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY SPEEDING UP THE EXHAUST FLOW. NOT ONLY WILL THIS COATING HELP YOU MAKE MORE HORSEPOWER, IT ALSO KEEPS YOUR HEADERS RUST-FREE, LOOKING GREAT, AND LASTING LONGER (WHEN PROPERLY MAINTAINED). NOT FOR LOWERED ENGINE APPLICATIONS, STOCK BELLHOUSING LOCATION IS IMPERATIVE FOR THESE HEADERS TO FIT TRI-5 APPLICATIONS. THESE HEADERS FIT TIGHT ABOVE THE STEERING BOX AND IN SOME APPLICATIONS MAY REQUIRE MINOR GRINDING OR CHANGING OF THE STEERING BOX ADJUSTING COVER BOLTS. THE STOCK EMERGENCY BRAKE ROD MUST EITHER BE ALTERED OR REMOVED FOR THESE HEADERS TO FIT. LARGE FRONT TIRES ALSO INTERFERE WITH THESE HEADERS IN SOME INSTANCES, DEPENDING ON FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING LOCATION.

IF THE COATING IS DAMAGED DUE TO A LEAN CONDITION, THE COATING WILL NOT BE WARRANTED, BUT CAN BE RECOATED FOR A FEE. NO WARRANTY OR RETURNS ON CERAMIC HOT COATED EXHAUST ITEMS ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.

IN THE EVENT YOU ORDER A HEADER THAT WILL NOT FIT YOUR VEHICLE AND APPLICATION, YOU MAY RETURN THEM FOR A REFUND, PROVIDING YOU DONT DAMAGE THE HEADER. WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE HEADER, THE FINISH WILL BE PROTECTED AND MUST REMAIN UNSCRATCHED FOR A REFUND. IF YOU BEND OR DIMPLE ANY OF THE TUBES OR SCRATCH THE FINISH, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SELL THE HEADER AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROCESS A REFUND. USE CARE WHEN TRIAL FITTING HEADERS.
