THESE HEADERS ARE GROUND PARALLEL AND FEATURE .300" FLANGES ON THE CYLINDER HEAD SURFACE WITH 1 5/8" PRIMARY TUBES. THESE STAINLESS STEEL HEADERS ARE SPLIT AND FEATURE 2 CONTOUR CUT 2-1/2" COLLECTORS WITH EXHAUST BAFFLES ON EACH SIDE OF THE ENGINE. THE 2-1/2" CONTOUR CUT COLLECTORS ARE CONNECTED BY A HIDDEN MOUNTING BRACKET ON THE BACK SIDE WITH A 1/2" BOLT HOLE, APPROXIMATELY 15-3/4" FROM THE EXHAUST END, TO ALLOW EXHAUST HANGERS TO BE INSTALLED IF DESIRED. THE 4 EXHAUST BAFFLES DO TONE DOWN THE SOUND SOMEWHAT, BUT YOU STILL HAVE A NOTICEABLE NOISE LEVEL, WITH THESE HEADERS. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR QUIET THESE ARE NOT THE HEADERS YOU NEED. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FINISH OF THE HEADER WHEN THE ENGINE IS STARTED WILL CHANGE TO A LIGHT CHAMPAGNE COLOR TO A DARKER GOLD FINISH AND IN SOME INSTANCE MAY EVEN TURN DARK BLUE OR PURPLE. THIS CAN BE POLISHED OUT WHEN UTILIZING BLUE-AWAY OR SIMI-CHROME POLISH, BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN THE HEADERS REACH RUNNING TEMPERATURE, THEY MAY CHANGE COLOR AGAIN. NO WARRANTY OR RETURNS ON POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST ITEMS ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.
